Located above right-rear corner of oil pan.
Digit 1: year of production
Digit 2-4: model of car (YK=Corvette, M=TH700-R4)
Digits 5-7: day of year of production
Adjusting TV cable

Depress and hold release
Pull slider back to fully retracted position
Un-Depress release
Rotate throttle to full open (slider should ratchet forward)
Repeat as necessary
Modifying Transmission Lockup to one-wire operation
-------------------------------------------------
Remove Pan
Remove wire running from 4th gear switch to 4-pin connnector
Replace 4th gear switch with GM-8642473 (on right)
Remove TCC solenoid ground wire from 4-pin connector
Attach TCC solenoid ground wire to new 4th gear switch

This is a diagram of the TCC lockup circuit on a TH700-R4. On the left is the stock setup, and on the right is a "one-wire conversion" you can do by changing one of the switches inside the pan of the transmission. It is also possible to make this change entirely externally by using a relay, which I may post sometime in the future.
